Pluses:
Excellent screen, decent screen mount and the one free map up date. Easy to use, add route/way points, uses NAVTEQ mapping and has lane assistance.
Negative:
The box could have done with including the USB mini B (5 pin) cable that you require to attach it to a PC to register the device and receive or buy updates. Also it is a shame Pro versions of Lane Assistance and Reality View not available on this model.
Comparable to hgiher model TomToms but cheaper! Use it for a bit before deciding whether to get Reality View. Be aware that RV is also offered bundled with the Fresh Map Quarterly Updates that can be purchased. |
It could be better!

| A very easy to use device with a good UI and clear voice that tells you the road name to turn in to. The unit feels good to hold and compact enough to put in a pocket. It would have been nice to have a printed manual but it's supplied on a CD. Although it has Lane choice assistance, it doesn't have the feature that display road signs called, Reality View, you will need to purchase this from the Navigon website at £22. |
ok but not as clear as it says

| very easy to use and great to have something say where to go when I have had no idea in some places, however as my job is to drive then not having the traffic updates and the speed cameras visible. Inputting your destination etc could not have been easier, having the postcode and street number is all you need and then you just say if you want motorways ferry(unlikely for traveling around the uk) or even fast scenic or short ruite. Helpful for me as i prefer the motorways. Updating quickly when i saw signs for one and it pointed me to more a roads!! good buy for a first time user. |
